Fall Soccer League 2026

Recreational soccer is a sports program designed to be fun and educational for players of all skill levels.
General Information:
The season runs from August through October and consist of one practice night a week, either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday (possibly Friday depending on the amount of teams), to develop fundamental skills and receive detailed instruction about the game; and on Saturday’s players will participate in a competitive match to put the skills they have learned to use. Players in the 9-11 and 12-15 age groups may travel and compete with surrounding counties.
A practice schedule will be posted/emailed the week of August 10th, with practices beginning the week of August 24th. The first round of games will take place on Saturday, September 12th. (Picture Day: TBD)
The registration fee is $80 per child ($60 for the 4–5 age group) and each additional child after will receive a 7% sibling discount. Fee includes a team jersey, referees, and a participation medal.

4-5 years old; Weekday Practice & Saturday Game
(4-6 minute quarters / 4v4 ; no gks)
Approx. 6 per team

6-8 years old; Weekday Practice & Saturday Game
(10 minute quarters / 5v5 ; gks)
Approx. 8 per team
Ball: Size 4
9-11 years old; Weekday Practice & Saturday Game
(25 minute halves / 9v9 ; gks)
Approx. 12 per team
Ball: Size 5
12-15 years old; Weekday Practice & Saturday Game
(25 minute halves / 11v11 ; gks)

*Schedule and Age Groups are subject to change.
*We encourage all players to arrive AT LEAST 15 minutes prior to both practices AND games.
Equipment:
Your child will be given their team jersey before their first scheduled game once registration is complete AND paid in full. You will be responsible for providing soccer cleats (different from baseball/football cleats), shin guards, shorts, socks (either white, black, or your team color is preferred when considering socks and shorts), and a water bottle for your child. Each participant is REQUIRED to have shin guards.
*4-5 Age Group: Cleats are recommended but not required at this age.
Coaching:
We are always in need of volunteer coaches. So please consider making a difference in a child's life by letting us know if you, or someone you know, would be interested in becoming a volunteer soccer coach.
*During registration, you will have the opportunity to indicate whether you would like to volunteer as a coach.
Special Requests:
In order to submit a special request, email us at parksandrec@kwc.gov . We will keep a list of all requests made and do our best to accommodate those requests but cannot guarantee that they will be met.
*Team/Coach requests will not be considered.
Refunds:
In order to receive a refund, a request must be made by email (parksandrec@kwc.gov) prior to the ordering of jerseys. Refunds will not be given after the jersey order has been placed (24 hours after coach/team placement email).
