THIS PROGRAM IS NOW FULL, BUT PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE WAITLIST OPTION ASAP BECAUSE THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE YOUR CHILD WILL GET A SPOT.Registration Opens: Monday, March 3rd at 9:00AMSUMMER SNEAKERS 2025  This year Summer Sneakers will begin on Tuesday, May 27th and go until Friday, August 1st.The program will be open from 7:30 am-6:00 pm Monday-Friday. The Summer Sneakers program is for rising Kindergarten to rising 6th graders.   All campers will be provided a lunch unless you bring a packed lunch. Each camper will need two snacks packed daily. We will have snacks available for purchase as well. The price per week is $125 per child for full-time (5 days a week) and $95 per child for part-time (3 days a week), each child after that will receive a 7% sibling discount. We do ask that any vacation dates be communicated to our office ahead of time, so we can adjust your account balance. Refunds/adjustments will not be given to those that do not communicate this information in a written email before hand.THE PROGRAM WILL BE CAPPED THIS YEAR AT 100 SPOTS PER WEEK. PLEASE KNOW THAT IF YOU ONLY REGISTER FOR WEEK 1 YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED FOR THE WHOLE SUMMER! About Mah Jongg A tile game of 136 tiles played with 4 people around a table. Tiles are shuffled, dice are cast, rituals begin involving the allocation of tiles, and then the exchange of tiles begins! Hands are determined by the National Mah Jongg League. The first person to match a hand of 14 tiles and thus call "MAH JONGG!" ends the game. Led by Tammy Garber.   When and where?Club plays every Wednesday of each month from 1-4pm at the King William Community Center (7890 Richmond Tappahannock Highway Aylett, VA 23009)Want to join?  There are only 8 available spots to be able to take the instructional class that is held starting in March. You may register on the Parks and Recreation website to reserve your spot. There is a $25.00 fee to take the class due to the purchasing of supplies needed to get started! Please call the Parks and Recreation office with any questions at 769-4981 or 769-4923.Class CancellationsThe Instructor will notify the class if there will be any cancellations for holidays or inclement weather.

Our certified trainers teach systematic moves to help you achieve your goals in the safest and most effective manner possible.  This workout is 55-minutes of resistance training using a barbell with very light weights and very high reps. During the workout, you go through five or six specific exercises using choreographed combinations. ~ A 30-minute introductory is required prior to beginning this workout. In addition to homework assistance, the group will engage in reading time and a variety of recreational activities including arts & crafts, sports & games, field trips, special visitors and more.  The After School Rec program will be held at Acquinton Elementary School (Cafeteria & Gym). A staff member will walk all children attending Cool Spring Primary School over to Acquinton for the program. The program runs from 3:00-6:00pm, Monday-Friday.   Pricing and Supplies:The cost of the program is $60 a week for Full-time and $40 a week for Part-time (3 days a week). Please Note: The weekly fee is already pro-rated for weeks when the program is closed for more than one day that week. (example: Thanksgiving break). Fees will be adjusted if closed for other circumstances such as inclement weather. Sibling Discounts: There will be a 7% Discount to any family that has more than 1 child enrolled in the program!  Payments are to be made the Friday prior to the week of attendance or can be paid for on a monthly basis prior to the start of the month. Kids should pack a snack daily for snack time. About Mah Jongg A tile game of 136 tiles played with 4 people around a table. Tiles are shuffled, dice are cast, rituals begin involving the allocation of tiles, and then the exchange of tiles begins! Hands are determined by the National Mah Jongg League. The first person to match a hand of 14 tiles and thus call "MAH JONGG!" ends the game. Led by Tammy Garber.   When and where?Club plays every Wednesday of each month from 1-4pm at the King William Community Center (7890 Richmond Tappahannock Highway Aylett, VA 23009)Want to join?  There are only 8 available spots to be able to take the instructional class that is held starting in March. You may register on the Parks and Recreation website to reserve your spot.
